Account deletion

MyTenue respects your right to delete your data in accordance with the GDPR (Article 17 — Right to erasure) and the requirements of Apple App Store and Google Play.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — Directly within the app (recommended)
- Open the MyTenue app on your phone or at https://mytenue.com
- Go to the Profile tab
- Scroll down to the "Sign out" button
- Tap "Delete my account" just below
- Confirm the deletion in two steps
- Your account will be deleted immediately
You will receive a confirmation email at your MyTenue address.
Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have access to the app)
Send an email to privacy@mytenue.com with:
- Subject: "Account deletion request"
- The email address associated with your MyTenue account
- A copy of your ID (for identity verification, as required by Article 12 of the GDPR)
Processing time: 30 days maximum (GDPR-compliant).
Data deleted immediately
- Your user profile (first name, last name, photo, preferences)
- Your digitised wardrobe and all your photos
- Your AI preferences and styling history
- Your location data
- Your in-app interactions (browsing history, virtual try-ons)
- Your login credentials (Cognito account)
- Your sessions and authentication tokens
Data retained (legal obligations)
Some data is retained for legally required durations:

This data is anonymised as early as possible and no longer allows you to be personally identified. Your user profile is replaced by an internal identifier with no personal data.
⚠️ Active subscriptions
If you have an active subscription (Basic, Premium or Gold), please cancel it manually BEFORE deleting your account via:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MyTenue → Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → MyTenue → Cancel
- Web: MyTenue Profile → Settings → Subscription
Important: deleting your account does NOT automatically suspend your subscription with Apple or Google. MyTenue is not allowed to cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play — only the relevant platform can do so.
When you request deletion from the app, MyTenue will detect any active subscription and ask for your explicit confirmation before proceeding.
Mytenue Credit
Any accumulated Mytenue Credit balance is permanently lost when the account is deleted. Mytenue Credit is not convertible into cash and cannot be transferred.
If you wish to use your Mytenue Credit before deletion:
- renew your subscription;
- upgrade your tier;
- purchase in-app add-ons.
Your GDPR rights
Before or independently of account deletion, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — obtain a copy of your data
- Right to rectification — correct your data
- Right to portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Right to restriction — limit processing
- Right to object — object to processing

In case of persistent disagreement, you can lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr.
